Hello David. Installing a heavier rated hitch will not necessarily resolve your tow concern. According to the online user guide for a 2023 Forest River GT5 Georgetown Motorhome, the coach itself is only rated for 5,000 lbs towing. So even if you were to install a higher rated hitch, you will still be limited to the 5,000 lb towing capacity of the coach.
